World War II ended 75 years ago, and there are very few people alive today, who were there to remember it. Zachor is the Hebrew word for remember, and that word urges us to not forget those who died during the Holocaust.
George Santayana famously said, “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” The mission of the ZACHOR Holocaust Remembrance Foundation is to educate about the past and teach lessons we learned from in in order to never repeat – ZACHOR. ZACHOR means remember.
