strong>Ben’s Story
When Ben Leser was only 11 years old when his life would change forever. With the invasion of Poland by German forces, Ben and his family were forced to flee their home in hopes of survival. Ben and his family were separated, and he was transported to 4 different concentration camps and was liberated in Dachau after surviving some of the deadliest events in history. After liberation Ben was reunited with his family and came to America in hopes of a better life.
Living a Life That Matters
In 2011, Ben published his autobiography and began to share his firsthand experiences with all willing to learn. He wanted to focus not only on his personal experiences but also the intolerance and madness that fueled it. Highlighting lessons that our society still must learn to prevent events like this from happening again.
Ben’s Life Now
After writing his book, Ben continued to share his story and spread messages to prevent intolerance and create a more peaceful world. His goal is to ensure that we continue to learn from our history and never forget the terrible events that took place.
